Mayor to Hold Town Hall Meetings

Mayor Eric Clarkson will hold a series of Town Hall meetings on Wednesday, July 26th, Wednesday August 9th and Wednesday, August 23rd. These Town Hall Meetings will update residents on City issues that are important to the constituents of Chamblee. The meetings also will highlight the State of the City. “It is critical that we come together to discuss current topics of interest,” states Chamblee Mayor Eric Clarkson. “There is a lot happening in the city, and I want to update the residents as well as talk about the successes we’ve had.”

•The July 26th Town Hall meeting will be held at St. Pius X Catholic High School Cafeteria, 2674 Johnson Rd NE.

•The August 9th meeting will be held at the Keswick Park community building, 3496 Keswick Dr.

•The August 23rd meeting will be at the Chamblee Civic Center, 3540 Broad St.

•All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., are scheduled to last two hours and are open to all Chamblee residents.

“I also will update the residents on what is going on in Public Works,” Clarkson adds. “There are so many new construction projects taking place. This is a very exciting time. Parks and Recreation also has sensational things happening as well.” Residents are welcome to attend any one or all three meetings.
